We live in a rapidly changing technological era, driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the emerging 5th Industrial Revolution (Industry 5.0), which focuses on human-machine collaboration. This impacts everything, including the church and ministry.
Technology offers new opportunities for wider outreach via social media and online resources, but also presents ethical challenges, such as bias and people groups marginalised by it.
The church is called to discern how wisely to use these tools to fulfil its mission in a digitally driven world, fostering spiritual growth and serving others effectively, and these tools are more essential than some would realise.
Using my locally hosted LLMs, AI has been assisting me in generating ideas and researching topics throughout this blog, but every article is written by humans, and humans only! If you are asking, should I trust this site? I verify my content through constant reading and from my experience in the technology field, along with the application of my biblical knowledge. However, like all content on the Internet, be cautious and ask God for Intelligence to help you decipher the information and its application.
God willing, I pray that I can share technological advances in a way that church ministers can appreciate and apply.
